MISSION STATEMENT

We believe that all children when given the chance to compete, on a level playing field whether in academics or on the track, can meet and possible pass people�s expectations. The Michigan All Stars Track Club is a non-profit organization whose goal is to help build youth character. We offer all children, regardless of their social/economic standing, opportunities that would not otherwise be afford to them.

1. We promote positive relationships between young people, parents, coaches and other caring individuals.

2. We provide academic support for youth in need of additional help.

3. We expose young people to profitable experiences through travel, and structured competition.

Michigan All Stars Track Club, organizers fundamentally believe that track and field is a fun and healthy way to nurture, to discipline, and to foster intellectual curiosities, as well as social responsibilities in young men and woman.  We also work with parents to ensure that the children are doing the things which are required of them at home. Such as, listening to their parents, and acting appropriately. When home, and academics duties are met, we than expect them to excel on the track. We encourage them to always put forth their best-effort whenever they compete in an event.

We work with the children by monitoring their grades in school. We also encourage participants to strive and maintain an above average grade. For those who need additional help, we have partnered with Eastern Michigan University and University of Michigan, Departments of Education to do this, because the possibilities to qualify for college is increased.                        

Michigan All Stars Track Club teaches that if the young men and woman take care of business at home, in the classroom and on the track, the possibilities to qualify for college is increased.
